Set in a specially designed environment that’s built to resemble a traditional Malay kampung, Farm In The City is a partially cage-less park where animals are allowed to roam freely throughout the visitor-friendly enclosures. You can feed, touch, and play with over 100 species of animals!
The park is split into several sections which include a free-flight bird aviary, reptiles cavern, Pet Village, and jungle walk. During your visit, you can feed Giant Tortoises, meet up with Marmosets, and even summon thousands of koi fish by ringing a bell.

The Hiking Dad – Broga Hill
If your dad is the type who enjoys long walks surrounded by nature, he’s sure to love a trip to Broga Hill!
Located at the edge of the Titiwangsa Range, Broga Hill is surrounded by lush tropical forest. It is also known as ‘Bukit Lalang’ after the grass that grows abundantly on its hilltop. While it can be a little daunting for first-timers, Broga Hill is considered a good place for beginning hikers as it is only around 400 meters (1,312 feet) high and can be climbed in about an hour.
Broga Hill is a favorite among local hikers due to the breathtaking, picture-book view from the top. Unlike most hills and mountains in Malaysia, Broga Hill’s peak is mostly devoid of trees, allowing you to get an amazing view of your surroundings.
If you want to catch the sunrise, make sure to come early and don’t forget to pack a good torch light and plenty of bottled water.

The Petrolhead Dad – Shah Alam International Kart Circuit
Some dads have a need. A need for speed.
If the sound of engines revving gets your old man going, head on over to the Shah Alam International Kart Circuit this weekend! Known as the home of outdoor karting, this place was opened in 1997 as the very first outdoor karting spot in Malaysia. Over the years, this 1.16km race track has hosted a number of local and international races.
No matter your skill level, Shah Alam International Kart Circuit has a kart for everyone! You can find everything from a double seater kart (great for kids!) all the way up to 125cc karts that can roar through the track at 120km per hour!

Staying Safe On The Road
While things are starting to open up again, that doesn’t mean that you should be cavalier with your hygiene, especially if you’re travelling with an older person. Here are a few safety tips that you should keep in mind while travelling this weekend:
